A man sits forlorn and alone in an empty bar. A mysterious woman approaches and tries to crack the shell of his sadness with an intimate physical act and the cathartic power of storytelling.
The short is based on a comic book that director Lorenzo Fonda wrote and illustrated a few years ago. It was published in a limited edition by the Italian publishing company Terracava.
The animated section created by director Lorenzo Fonda employs an experimental technique that was fully done inside a VR headset using the drawing software Tiltbrush.

Lorenzo Fonda is an award-winning filmmaker and artist working in multiple disciplines such as film, animation, illustration, comics, installations, murals, writing and others. His first feature documentary Megunica about the work of mural artist and animator Blu was screened at festivals around the world and won multiple awards. He is currently finishing his new graphic novel The Uncanny and working on a new documentary titled Archaeology of the Future. He lives in NYC.
